Meghan Markle sparked conversation over the weekend after sharing a personal reflection about what she called a “difficult seven years,” tied to her horoscope. Now, an astrologer has weighed in with a fresh interpretation.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, reposted content from an Instagram account called Astrology is for Everyone, featuring the caption: “Taurus, Leo, Scorpio & Aquarius ending the hardest seven years of their lives on April 25th.” The post included a celebratory video of two men dancing.
Many took the repost as a subtle reference to the royal family, noting that seven years ago—around 2019—Meghan Markle was still a working royal following her marriage to Prince Harry.
Born on August 4, 1981, Meghan is a Leo, one of the Zodiac’s fire signs, which has added even more intrigue to the discussion.
In a second post, Meghan Markle shared a horoscope message suggesting her “confidence took hits it had no business taking,” leading her to question her “creative direction,” her place in the “spotlight,” and even her sense of worth.
The two-paragraph reflection described that period as “exhausting,” while suggesting a turning point was approaching, with the pressure expected to “lift” on April 25. It ended on a hopeful note, adding: “You get the space to just exist without fighting for it.”
Speaking to HELLO!, astrologer and psychic Inbaal Honigman has now shared her interpretation of the deeper meaning behind Meghan Markle’s horoscope post.
According to Honigman, Meghan’s sign, Leo, has been going through “intense and unexpected changes due to Uranus and Taurus” since 2018—a combination she described as particularly turbulent. She suggested those influences can bring disruption in areas such as career, social standing, home life and long-term ambitions.
She also noted that Venus entering retrograde in 2023 may have further unsettled domestic matters, potentially having “shaken up her home life.”
However, Inbaal Honigman argued that Leo was not actually “the worst nor the most directly affected” among the signs.
“Taurus have had it the roughest, because this planet was directly in their sign, ushering unwelcome surprises,” she said.
Honigman went on to explain: “Aquarius have had a tough time too, because Uranus is their ruling planet. Scorpio, King Charles III’s sign, and Leo, Meghan Markle’s sign, have certainly felt the rough edge of Uranus in Taurus, but not as acutely as Aquarians and Taureans.”
Fortunately, it seems Meghan Markle may be moving beyond what she has seen as a difficult seven-year chapter, with a more positive period potentially ahead.
According to the interpretation, she could now be entering a phase associated with “good fortune,” bringing a sense of renewal and happier times for her and her family.
Inbaal Honigman suggested brighter times could be ahead for Meghan Markle, saying: “In the middle of 2026, Jupiter, planet of luck, will go into Meghan’s star sign, Leo. This lucky planet will walk with her for 12 months, meaning that Meghan, and other Leos, will enjoy a lot of good fortune.”
Still, she noted it may not be entirely smooth sailing. “The next Venus retrograde in Leo will take place from July 20, 2031, to September 1, 2031, which means that Meghan’s work/life balance will be disrupted again,” Inbaal Honigman said.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from royal duties in early 2020, beginning a new chapter in the United States with their children, Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.
After stepping away from royal life, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went on to secure major deals with Netflix and Spotify, though both partnerships have since concluded.
Meghan Markle has also spoken candidly over the years about the struggles she faced within the royal family, including during the couple’s widely discussed 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.
During their recent tour of Australia, Meghan said she had been “the most trolled person in the entire world” for a decade.
Speaking at the InterEdge Summit in Melbourne, Prince Harry echoed similar feelings, saying he never truly wanted a life as a working royal after the death of his mother, Princess Diana. He also spoke of moments in his life when he had felt “lost, betrayed, or completely powerless.”
