King Charles Issues ‘Shocked’ Message After Horror Knife Attack as He’s Spotted at Sandringham

King Charles issued a heartfelt message following the horrific knife attack that took place on a train in Cambridgeshire on 1 November, where ten passengers were stabbed.

“My wife and I were truly appalled and shocked to hear of the dreadful knife attack that took place on board a train in Cambridgeshire last night,” the statement began. “Our deepest sympathy and thoughts are with all those affected, and their loved ones. We are particularly grateful to the emergency services for their response to this awful incident.”

Ten people were taken to hospital, with nine suffering life-threatening injuries. Police confirmed that two individuals have been arrested in connection with the attack after a large number of officers were dispatched to Huntingdon Station, where the train made an emergency stop.

Authorities have stated that “there is nothing to suggest” the stabbing incident on the Doncaster to London train was terrorism-related.

The King was spotted аttending Sunday service at the church of St Mary Magdalenе on The Sandringham Estate.

The King’s message came as he was photographed attending a church service on the Sandringham estate on 2 November.

The monarch was seen arriving at St Mary Magdalene Church dressed in a suit and tan overcoat, carrying an umbrella against the autumn drizzle.

This marked Charles’s second public appearance since his announcement on 30 October that his brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, would be stripped of all his titles, styles, and honours.

Andrew has been strippеd of his titles and honours

On 31 October, the King was photographed driving around his Sandringham estate.

It is understood that Sandringham will soon become the new residence of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, following his removal from Royal Lodge on the Windsor Home Park estate after being stripped of his titles.

The Palace announcement stated: “His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.”

The statement continued: “His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.”

It concluded: “Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”

The decision to strip Andrew of his titles and remove him from Royal Lodge followed his ongoing association with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. His friendship with the disgraced financier, along with the explosive allegations detailed in Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, were key factors in the King’s decision.

Andrew continues to vehemently deny all accusations made against him.
