The Princess of Wales will host a celebratory reception for the Red Roses at Windsor Castle later this week, marking their triumph at the Rugby World Cup.
Kate, who serves as patron of the Rugby Football Union, is set to welcome the England women’s rugby team to the historic royal venue on Thursday.
The squad and their support staff are expected to take part in a guided tour of the castle before joining Kate at the reception, where they will proudly present their trophy.
The Red Roses secured a 33–13 victory over Canada in the World Cup final in September, a match witnessed by a record-breaking crowd of 81,885 at Allianz Stadium.
Kate and the Prince of Wales publicly congratulated the team, praising the newly crowned champions for their achievement.
Earlier in the tournament, the Princess attended one of the pool-stage matches in Brighton, where she watched the Roses defeat Australia before later joining the players in the changing room for a jubilant post-match singalong.
