Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis during Christmas celebrations as their special gift is revealed

A Thoughtful Surprise: The Meaningful Christmas Gift Given to George, Charlotte and Louis

The three children of the Prince and Princess of Wales — Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte — were given a special mention by a baby bank charity after donating everyday items to mark the organisation’s tenth anniversary.

In support of The Baby Bank, which provides essential supplies for families with newborns and children up to their teenage years, the royal siblings were listed among the charity’s donors for 2025.

The Berkshire-, Buckinghamshire-, and Hillingdon-based charity thanked George, 12, Charlotte, ten, and Louis, seven, in a social media caption reflecting on its achievements over the past year.

Alongside a collage of images showing the types of donations received, the charity wrote: “2025 saw The Baby Bank turn 10 years old.”

The statement continued: “As we look back on this milestone, we are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from our community, as well as from schools, organisations, and businesses that have come together to make collective donations.”

It went on to say: “These included brand-new winter clothing from Primark Bracknell following staff fundraising efforts, pre-loved clothing donated by St Edmund Campion School, several collections from Hartbeeps Berkshire baby and toddler classes, beautiful Billie’s baby clothing kindly provided by Lorraine Kelly Smith and Rosie Kelly Smith, and essential everyday items thoughtfully selected by the children of the Prince and Princess of Wales.”

“These items helped us efficiently reach families far and wide and support thousands of children this year.”

The Waleses volunteered in 2023

It isn’t the first time the young princes and princess have supported The Baby Bank. They previously visited the charity with their mother, Kate, in November 2023.

At the time, The Baby Bank’s co-CEO, Lauren Hall, told us exclusively: “It’s the second time the Princess of Wales has visited us this year. She came earlier — I think it was around April — and she mentioned then that she would like to return and bring the children.”

She continued: “They were really excited to help out, which was lovely.”

Lauren added: “Charlotte seemed to enjoy organising things and was very keen to put together bags for children her own age, as well as for younger babies. She was especially interested in creating a small clothing pack for a baby.”

She also shared a sweet detail about the youngest royal, saying: “Louis was, of course, very enthusiastic. As soon as he spotted the toys, he went straight over and started picking out all the biggest stuffed animals — which was very entertaining to watch.”

Following in their parents’ footsteps

The Wales children have previously taken part in volunteering initiatives through their school, Lambrook in Windsor, back in 2022. In a social media post shared at the time, the school explained how pupils helped deliver donated items to a local food bank.
